We talk a lot about Care Portal in order to care for children and families in need in our community. Have you ever wondered how it works? We would love to add more people to our response team to help meet the needs of vulnerable children and families near us.

On Sunday, November 17 at 4 PM, we will hold a brief training to equip those interested in learning more about Care Portal. We will review how it works, where requests come from, and what it is like to be part of this ministry at Prov Road. It will also include the different roles that you – as a responder – can serve in and the different communication channels/resources that are available to responders. As a part of the training, we will also be sharing stories of lives that have been impacted through Care Portal's ministry. Register today to let us know you're coming!

On Sunday, October 27 from 5-6:30 p.m., we will be having a church-wide family potluck and meeting. We’ll eat dinner together at 5 and then have a meeting at 6. Childcare will be provided during the meeting. We would love for everyone to join, not just members, so please make plans to attend. We also want everyone (including college students) to bring a generous item for the potluck so there is plenty of food. We have to order everyone’s workbooks a week before the study starts, so be sure to sign up by Tuesday, September 3 to be sure you will have a workbook ready for you at our first meeting. The cost for the study is $12 to cover materials. If you have any questions, please email Nicole Hager.

On Sunday, October 6, we will be having a baptism service as we celebrate lives that have been changed by Jesus! If you are interested in being baptized, please let us know by filling out this registration. Someone will be reaching out soon to hear your testimony, answer questions you have, and go over details about that morning. We look forward to talking with you more about baptism!

We will be having our next New Member Class on September 22 & 29. Those interested in becoming members should attend both days from 4-5:30 p.m. In this class, you will learn more about what we believe and what expectations are for those who covenant with us in membership.
