Our next Covenant Member Meeting is on Sunday, February 1, from 5-7 PM. We'll look back on the year we just had, celebrate God's faithfulness, and look ahead at 2026. We will also hear a report from our UAE mission team, discuss the 2026 budget, two services, and more. Childcare will be provided for Birth - 5th grade. We'll also be having our annual potluck chili dinner together, so please sign up to bring a generous item to share, and arrive with your item by 4:45! Members will eat dinner in the bunker starting at 5. This year, we will order pizza for kids to make feeding them easier.

Due to winter weather, Child Dedication has been moved to Sunday, February 1. We will celebrate the new little lives God has brought into our church family over the past year during both services. Prov Road along with other churches in our community will be co-hosting a Perspectives class beginning in January 2026. Early bird registration is currently open and closes on December 31. Perspectives is a fifteen-lesson education course exploring different aspects of God’s global purpose in a multi-faceted learning experience, and they have an incredible line up of instructors that will be leading the class.

We want to thank everyone who has given to Providence Road in 2025 to help us accomplish our mission – glorifying God by leading people to find freedom and joy in Jesus. As you consider where you might make year-end contributions and make your personal budgets for 2026, please keep us in mind. Like most churches, the end of the year is an important time for us in regard to our budget. 

Each week, we remind our covenant members and regular attenders the ways in which you are able to give in support of our ministry here. When you give, we believe wholeheartedly that your giving is an act of worship to God. That your giving should only be done in response to what you’ve received in Jesus. If Prov Road means a great deal to you and you are all in on the impact we’ve made in your life or others you know, we simply ask you to consider ways you can support our ministry. We love the city of Norman. We’re passionate about the gospel of Jesus. And we desire for people all over the world to hear about the love of God for them, demonstrated through His Son, Jesus. Your generosity helps us to continue on in our mission! 

To begin making regular contributions or if you plan on making an additional gift before the end of the year, you may do so in one of three ways:

We’re excited that our kids will be singing a Christmas song in the Gathering on Sunday, December 14! The Saplings through 5th grade classes will participate, and practices will take place during the first part of the service starting Sunday, November 2. On those Sundays, children Pre-K through 5th will begin in their classes for song practice (first service only). Check your email for more details from Kaylee about the song and practice schedule.

On any given day, almost 6,000 children in the state of Oklahoma are in OKDHS custody. Many families have stepped in to care for these children by becoming foster parents. Please join us in serving and blessing these families by registering to volunteer (6th grade and older) at our Foster Kids Christmas Party on Saturday, December 13, from 9 AM to 2:30 PM.
