Philippians: Introduction

Bible Text: Phil 1:1-11 (Acts 16)

The Apostle Paul is writing to saints in Christ in the city of Philippi whom he deeply loved. How did he come to love them so much? Why did they bring him so much joy? In this sermon we see that Paul was used by God to plant the church in Philippi. We see how the power of God’s grace in the gospel breaks into our lives and produces this deep affection and love for those in Christ.
