Jesus the Good Shepherd

Bible Text: John 9

Jesus uses the realities of a shepherd and sheep to illustrate the reality of His kingdom. Like sheep, we face many dangers in this life. And we are helpless against our greatest enemy and threat which is sin and death. But the hope of salvation is offered to all who come to Jesus. He is the door (entrance) into salvation. And He is the Good Shepherd who lays down his life to save His sheep.
