Jesus on Trial (John 18:28-40)

Jesus has been arrested and is now standing trial before Pilate. The courtroom imagery helps us understand what it is like to stand before God, and forces us to ask questions like, "what justifies a person before God?" The good news of the person and work of Jesus is the only thing we can cling to when standing before God.
