Making Sense of Unjust Suffering (1 Peter 2:13-17)

Our sense of fairness and justice are shaped by our experiences and beliefs. We understand the idea of receiving punishment for poor decisions or not receiving punishment when we make good decisions. In our text today, however, Peter tells us there is a type of suffering we will experience that we do not deserve. We look to Jesus as we try to make sense of this hard teaching.
