Sovereign Lord, Willing Sacrifice (John 18:1-14, 19-24)

Jesus moves towards the garden he's frequented one final time, knowing that he is about to be betrayed by one of his followers. John makes sure we are aware that Jesus is in full control of the events that transpire and is intent to drink the cup of God's wrath on behalf of sinners.
